Hailey Dietl helped the Team Wisconsin 12U squad wrap up a perfect Illinois getaway with three weekend wins in the Windy City area.

On Saturday (Sept. 11), the team visited The Edge Ice Arena, former home of the USHL’s Chicago Steel for a game, Dietl setting up one of her team’s goals in a 2-1 edge against the host Chicago Mission.

The following day started early as TW hit the ice for a 7:50 a.m. faceoff against the Chicago Americans at Crown Community Ice Arena in Evanston. Clearly early risers, the Wisconsin team grabbed a 4-2 win and returned for a 3-2 win against the same team on the same ice at 11:40 a.m.

After a 3-1 weekend two weekends earlier at the Minnesota AAA Summer Finale tournament, the 12U TW squad is enjoying a 7-1 record so far.

This coming weekend TW will stay in state for a pair of games against Team Red Saturday, then travels to Brewtown for a pair against the Milwaukee Junior Admirals on Sunday.
